Craft together Group
Wednesdays, 2-4pm
This Wednesday, June 13, will see the first Craft Together Group at Inverness County Centre for the Arts.
This 2 hour drop-in session of crafting in a friendly, group atmosphere will take place every Wednesday. The studio will be open to those wanting to work on existing projects, start something new, or pick up a new craft with old and new friends.
Please bring a project with you. Limited amounts of materials and equipment will be available for those not sure where to begin!
Craft Together Group hosts, Emily MacDonald and Olivia Ball, are avid crafters. They have experience in knitting, crochet, felting, hand and machine sewing, wool spinning, making stuffed dolls and toy animals, embroidery, painting and drawing. Emily and Olivia are happy to help with projects, and guide participants who wish to pick up a new skill. We hope that participants will forge friendships at the group, and will support and encourage each other in their craft process.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and cookies will be served at the group. Admission is by donation, with a suggested donation of $2 per week. The group is open to everyone, although young children will need adult supervision.
Anyone who would like to attend, but would have difficulty due to lack of transportation or mobility difficulties, is encouraged to contact Olivia Ball at [email protected] or 902-258-2533.
This event is part of inFlux Festival.
