An introduction to artistic collaboration and networking

In this workshop, we will introduce participants to the idea of artistic collaboration, why it is valuable and the different approaches artists can take when working together. We are going to share our own methods, as well as other ways we have seen artist teams collaborate. During the workshop participants pair up and are challenged to work on a project together in one of many approaches. It’s a fun event that requires no previous collaboration experience to enjoy. Participants are encouraged to bring their favourite “making” materials (pencils, watercolors, yarn, etc…) and an open mind to try something new. It’s a great opportunity to connect and network with other artists or take an interesting workshop with your art buddies!
