Book Arts for the Young Explorer

Instructor: Sadie Bills

Price: By donation (suggested $15 and $10 for members)

Ages: 8 – 12

Description:

In this one-day workshop, we will make accordion books out of paper and have fun experimenting with many recycled materials. We will use techniques such as stamping, rubbing, drawing, and collage to collect our “data” from natural and man-made objects in and around the Art Centre. This will become the creative content for our books. We hope you will come to create and explore!

The workshop is from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch as there will be a short break for lunch and games!
