The Inverness County Centre for the Arts invites you to join us at the opening reception of Tiny Houses, an exhibit curated by Ellen Adler. Ellen Adler has spent a year imagining, organizing, and gathering an assembly of various actual Tiny Houses and works of art inspired by this idea from a broad group of artists and makers from the area and beyond. Her inspiration for the exhibition is the theme of inclusion and being grateful for having a home. The motto of the project: we all can live together in our house, one house in peace. The exhibit will be installed both in the art centre’s event space and outdoors. Tareq Hadhad will not only be contributing chocolates in the shape of tiny houses to the exhibit but also giving a talk at the opening . The subject of his talk will be his experience living with his family for three years in a “tiny house” in a Jordanian refugee camp .
To celebrate the launch of Tiny Houses, Breton Brewing will be serving their custom-created Tiny House Pale Ale available at the cash bar along with our regular offerings.
