The Acadian community of Chéticamp is well known for its magnificent church constructed in 1893 through the hard work of its parishioners. 2018 marks the 125th anniversary of this important event in the history of this community. A big stone church in a small village showcasing the perseverance, the determination and the faith of a strong people. Napoléon Chiasson will tell you the story of the leader behind such a huge undertaking, Père Pierre Fiset. Be transported back to 1893 and learn how this all unfolded.
