ICCA is putting out a call out for printed matter—including but not limited to— hand made books, artist books, zines, altered books, graphic novels, and poetry – to be displayed at the art centre in a pop up exhibition in September and October.
Subject matter is not limited to a theme and artists of all disciplines across Canada are invited to participate.
Please email the following information with your submission:
– your name and contact information
-title of work
-price of work
-edition size
-a description of the work being submitted
-a brief artists bio/statement
-an image of your submission jpg format 1000px on long side.
Submissions may be emailed to [email protected] no later than September 1st.
Accepted work that isn’t being dropped off must be mailed in time to reach ICCA by September 15th and can be sent to the following address:

Unsold items will be mailed back to artists after the duration of the exhibition at the artists’ expense.
This exhibition will coincide with the annual Cabot Trail Writers Festival that will be showcasing the work of some of Nova Scotia’s finest poets, novelists, writers and songwriters. The Writers Festival will be taking place between September 28th and Oct 1st at the Gaelic college in St. Ann’s Bay.

Following the Cabot Trail Writers Festival; ICCA will be hosting an open mic reading event on Sunday, September 30th as well as a book fair where other exciting events including readings, presentations and workshops will take place on Monday, October 1st.
